The April General Membership Meeting was not held April 12th (A-Shift), as there were not enough members to hold a quorum. This meeting could not start on time- 7pm, and will likewise could not end on time - 9pm. Basically, without enough members to do proper business, even in these days of budget shortfalls -and talks of layoffs, and firehouse closings, this Union meeting could only be a moan & groan session.

While everyone understands the daily lifestyle complications of one of us on  the Job, with family, part-time jobs, school, church, etc. nonetheless your Union does need your input. If you may squeeze your Union meetings somehow into your busy schedules, you will indeed have a deciding voice into your own future.

Please make the effort to attend if at all possible.
