January 2006 General Membership meeting

Jan 10, 2006. Meeting started at 7:00 pm and ended at 8:30 pm. The new Board members were sworn in by Everette Passaly. John Foster President, Tom Brewer Vice President, Jeff Hopkins Secretary. David Gersdorff Treasurer was not able to attend meeting. The Trustees and Battalion VP's that showed up were made official also.
Discussion on the Progress of the Palmer Building and financials.
Discussion about Aetna insurance not having family counsiling. Looks like the General office is already working on this. The Local 660 did remind everyone that you can go to EAP thru the local. Privacy guaranteed.
Discussion of SCBA upfit. Concerns of a single regulator to each pack and what cross contamination problems might occur.
The new board was a little sluggish but we will get better.
