I. Manning requirement on all companies as not to endanger the lives of fire fighters or lives of citizens.

II. 13% cost of living increase for all Fire Dept. employees.

III. Health insurance be maintained by the city for all retired fire fighters and wives so that in event of death of fire fighter the widow will be insured.

IV. An increase of EMT certification from $42.50 to $80.00 per month.

V. Reduction of work week to 40 hours.

VI. Full paid hospitalization to include eye and dental coverage for all active and retired members of the Fire Dept.

VII. Longevity (sic) pay to begin at 5 years service.

VIII. With fire fighters being eligible for promotion to Captain in 3 years, top pay should be obtained at the end of 3 years with no anniversary change.

IX. Residency requirement to be changed to read: "Within a 21 mile radius of Charlotte, NC. ( note: CFD personnel used to have to reside within Mecklenburg County.)

X. Before any members of the Fire Dept. are required to participate in any physical training program, each person shall be given a complete physical with the cost borne by the city.

XI. EMT pay for all cerified (sic) Dist. Chiefs and Fire Alarm Dispatchers.
