The Charlotte Fire Fighters Association sells tickets to concerts held in the Cabarrus areana. There are two shows held annually, and oldies / rock music show and a country music show.
These events enable us to carry on with many outstanding projects that are close to the heart of firefighters. Some of these projects include:
*Sponser of CFFA 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb
*Purchase over $2500 worth of Back to School Supplies for CMS Students
*Donation of over 12000 Fire Safety Coloring Books to CMS School System.
*Donation of 4 THERMAL IMAGING DEVICES to the Charlotte Fire Department to used for locating missing persons, hot spots, and guiding firefighters through smoke filled areas.
*Donation of Carbon Monoxide Detectors and Smoke Alarms to be given out free of charge to low encome residents of Mecklenburg County
*Burnout Program for fire victims.
*Sponsored Cutts for Kids to provide cold weather clothing for children.
*Donating to the Mecklenburg County Special Olympics.
*Combat Vetrans Association
*Platinum Level Sponsor for the Charlotte Observer Education Program.
*Donating a TRAINING MAZE to the Charlotte Fire Department for the new recruit testing.
*FINANCIAL SUPPORT of BURN victims including BURN CHILDRENS Hospitals both in NC and Nationally.
*MAINTAINING Stress Management, along with Employee Assistance Programs to help firefighters deal with the stresses faced daily.
*Fight for STRONGER LAWS to prevent injury and death in the LINE OF DUTY.
*Send Charlotte Fire Fighters to training classes throughout the country so they can gain knowledged and share it with other Fire Fighters so that we can better serve the Citizens of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County.
*PROVIDING a vision care program for firefighters.
*ASSISTING Charlotte Firefighter Burned Children's Fund.
*$1000 Towards the Memorial to Honor the 9 Charleston SC Fire Fighters who passed away while fighting fire in the line of duty.
