Dear Firefighter Supporters
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for supporting your local fire fighters. You contribution will benefit fire fighters throughout Charlotte and Mecklenburg County. With the purchase of these ticket vouchers, you show your support not only for the fire fighters, but for your community as well.
The Charlotte Fire Fighters Association represents approximately 800 local fire fighters who are employed by the fire department (our organization represents the members, not the government agencies). We are a not-for-profit professional organization; therefore these ticket/vouchers are not tax deductible for Federal tax purposes as a charitable contribution.
Please be assured that the Charlotte fire fighters and the community they serve will benefit from your support.
It is important to note that we represent the Career Professional Fire Fighters themselves and do not financially support any volunteer fire departments.
Once again, I thank you for your support. It is friends like yourself that make a difference.
Thomas G. Brewer
President, Charlotte Fire Fighters Association
